Musical Phrases

This activity provides opportunities for creating phrases and sentences and repeating them in a sequence.

Much like a game of exquisite corpse, this musical game is built on addition of phrases that eventually create a complete "song." Students repeat all previous phrases when they add their own, and in a class of the average size this could become a challenge and a source of fun and joy, as students are likely to forget or distort the words and the tunes.
