Activity objectives: The practice of phrases of introduction and location.
Activity design: A musical dialogue between one student referred to by name and the whole group.
Suggested routine (1): Bars number 1, 2, 5, 7, 8 are sung by the whole group, and bars number 3, 4, and 6 by the named student. This student rotates until each student has had the opportunity to be addressed by name.
Suggested routine (2): Bars number 1 and 2 are sung by an individual student serving as the "master of ceremony" or by the teacher; bars number 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 are sung by the whole class (text in bars 3 and 4 changes to "he is here" or "he is there"); bar number 6 is sung by the named student.
